After obtaining two graduate degrees and working in the business world for a number of years, the author decided it was time for a career change and became a police officer for 25 years which included two years of undercover narcotic work while being assigned to the state Attorney General's office and DEA. While still an officer, he began his college teaching career on a part time basis. The author has owned a number of businesses over the years including an underwater salvage concern and after obtaining his commercial pilots license, a flight school/charter business. The flight school/charter operation was comprised of 14 planes and was sold after 8 successful years of operation. John is a retired Sr. Lecturer of Economics from Bentley University. He enjoys family, boating and skiing, diving for lost shipwrecks and hiking the Arizona deserts in search of fortune & glory. |
